We have an issue where sometimes its not totally clear where to post so I hope I can help! Its cropped up in our Q and A and its something we are addressing with a redesign!
So if you get FORUM LOCKED whilst trying to post, try this checklist..
1) Have you registered and logged in? Yes
2) Nappyvalleynet.com is a network or "stack" of forums. What that means is we have a master forum (nappyvalleynet.com) and lots of sub-forums (e.g. childcare).
3) To make matters even more interesting a sub forum (e.g. childcare) can have its own sub forum (e.g. nurseries). Its a bit like russian dolls! Another example is that "shopping" is a sub forum of nappyvalleynet.com and "exclusive offers" is a sub forum of "shopping"
3) You can only post in a forum if it has *no* sub forums below it. I.e. You cannot post in "childcare", you have to post in "nurseries" or "nannies" or "nanny shares" etc. If you try to post in a forum that has sub forums below it you will get "forum locked" message. So only post in the "lowest" forum.
4) Why? We do this because people might post comments about "nurseries" in "childcare" and not in "nurseries" and so people would miss those results. It means that you have to make sure you're posting in the right bit.
